Buy basmati rice, not perfumed. Rince the rice in a strainer to wash way any dirt or dust. 1 cup of rice, 1.5 cup of water (clean, cool tap water). Hot for 1 minute, then middle for 7 minutes with a lid on it. Do NOT stir the rice, it's useless. Check with a wooden spoon to see if there is any water left. If there is some, let the rice cook again for 1 min. You should have a very fluffy and tasty rice. Personnal note: You can flavor the rice yourself, like adding three pods of green
